Before you start creating customers, vehicles, and jobs, it’s important to configure your organisation settings. These details are used throughout your AutoHive account for invoices, reports, communications, and other business processes.
Accessing Organisation Settings #
To access your organisation settings:
- Sign in to AutoHive.
- Click Settings from the navigation menu.
- Select Organisation.
From here you can manage your business information and preferences.
Organisation Details #
The Organisation Details section contains the core information about your workshop.
Complete the following fields:
- Organisation name
- Trading name (if applicable)
- Phone number
- Email address
- Website
- Physical address
- Postal address
Ensure these details are accurate, as they may appear on invoices, quotes, and customer communications.
Business Information #
Depending on your region, you may also wish to enter:
- Tax number
- GST/VAT registration number
- Company registration number
- Business identifier
These details can be displayed on customer-facing documents.
Branding #
AutoHive allows you to customise the appearance of your documents and communications.
You can upload:
- Company logo
- Invoice logo
- Quote logo
For best results, use a high-quality PNG image with a transparent background.
Regional Settings #
Configure settings specific to your location and business requirements.
Time Zone #
Select the time zone used by your workshop. This affects:
- Appointment scheduling
- Job timestamps
- Reports
- Notifications
Currency #
Choose the currency used for quotes, invoices, and reporting.
Date Format #
Select your preferred date format to ensure consistency throughout the platform.
Communication Settings #
Organisation email settings determine how customers receive notifications and documents.
Review and configure:
- Default sender name
- Reply-to email address
- Notification preferences
- Customer communication settings
Document Numbering #
AutoHive can automatically generate numbers for:
- Quotes
- Job cards
- Invoices
- Purchase orders
You may customise numbering prefixes and starting sequences to match your existing business processes.

Saving Your Changes #
Once you have completed your organisation setup:
- Review all entered information.
- Click Save Changes.
- Verify that your organisation details appear correctly throughout the system.
